Training and education
He was raised within a family whose sole vocation was music. He took his first lessons from his parents and taok the piano as his main instrument, in Mexico City.
Later he studied with the serbian-mexican teacher Nadia Stankovich. After that, he studied with Gonzalo Gutierrez, teacher at the Escuela de Musica Vida and Movimiento Ollin Yoliztli in Mexico City. He also studied modern harmony with the teacher Antonio Bravo. He took composition classes with Vincent Carver from the United Kingdom and modern and classic harmony with the cuban teacher Enrique Ricardo Portales.
Later in his life he developed a growing interest for jazz, its styles and freedom, and the several forms derived from it.

Professional Career. Projects
In 2012 he recorded with his own trio, Blanch-Cupich-Nandayapa project available on iTunes. The record includes his compositions and some of bass player Israel Cupich.
He recently (2014) took part in the record “Way South” of the drummer Stefan Czesochovsky.
He has also played with artists such as Greg Haugesag, Daline Jones, Iraida Noriega, Cristian Mendoza, Todd Clouser, Israel Cupich, Gustavo Nandayapa, Hernan Hecht, Aarón Cruz, Tom Kessler, Pedro Cervera, Federico Hulz, Gerry López, Phil Grenadier, Steven Bernstein, Adam Linz, Mario Forte, Kevin Warner, Abraham Calderón, Peter Guidi, among others.
Professional Career. Nowadays
Nowadays he lives in Chiapas and works as a teacher in the Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas (UNICACH). He performs with regularity in the jazz scene in San Cristobal de las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, as well as in several Jazz Festivals, cultural events, Cultural Institutions, and concerts in Mexico.
He is interested in promoting jazz culture through composition, performance and teaching.
